Puneet Sharma is also an prominent Hindi poet. He gained acclaim and popularity with his blistering poem “Tum Kaun Ho Bey?” at the anti-Citizenship Amendement Act protests.
In 2008, he got a job in a radio channel and a year into the medium he decided to go to Mumbai. Puneet Sharma received a lot of encouragement from actor-writer Piyush Mishra, when he decided to shift to Mumbai in 2012. He started his career with Yashraj films.
He is also known for his long-term collaboration with the Banglore based folk rock band Swarathma.
